They are encouraged to seek support for any issues they encounter and may be offered partial financial support while they become established and move to life beyond the recovery houses.
Our residential treatment programs are currently housed in Mission facilities. While in the program, men and women follow a set of guidelines designed to aid them in the recovery process. Men in the program are required to work at the Mission during the day and attend church and bible studies throughout the week. Women in recovery are required to participate in state and court-mandated programs, as well as bible studies, church, and counseling sessions. Both men and women follow the Genesis Recovery process, which is based on the Bible. Men can stay in the program for nine months, and women can stay in the program for up to two years.
